Foreigner hell week

The set is still a work in progress. It was a tremendous undertaking. As always, it will all work out, but this one has been harder to finish than any in recent history. I think it is a combination of having a rehearsal period with spring break in the middle of it as well as having the last three day weekend, as well as having Aims testing. It's made it harder to keep the momentum going. We have also never worked with real round logs before (as well as fabricating faux half logs). It took several ponderings to figure out how exactly to go about attaching them together in a smooth, professional manner without the professional tools. In the end, we decided on a secret solution that will be shared once certain we have all the railings in place and they will be secure.

The cast is coming together. They've been very fun to work with. Great attidtudes and they brought a lot of their own ideas to the table. Tomorrow we get the "robes" for the "townspeople." I'm sure that will create a good excitement for tomorrow's run through. We picked up several pieces of furniture today and the cast got to start feeling out the actual playing space.

A lot still left to do...
